I have not drawn life for 40+ years until
I discovered Basic Inquiry (Vancouver Life Drawing Society) in 2001.
The concentration and setting the mind free is a good therapy for me.
The joy of drawing life is incredible when lines drawn become lively.
Life Drawing helps to
train my eyes’ and hands’ coordination.
I have been working in the commercial
photo industry for decades making pictures for others. Now I have the
liberty to choose what I like to shoot. I have been very fortunate to
encounter so many beautiful figurative models voluntarily posed for
me. They always help me create new ideas.
Photography helps me to
capture and create images.
Since the maturity of digital imaging, I
feel that those graphic and image editing software should not be
limited in commercial use, they can also be used to develop fine arts
applications. This has proven to be a new media in the fine art field.
Digital Imaging allows me
to combine the above to develop new images, which
intrigue the creation of conceptual art. |
